Hijau Kuning ? No lah… Im still a loyal Perak fan…

We went to Shah Alam stadium on Saturday night to watch the game between Selangor and Kedah. Actually Baby wanted to watch her state team (Kedah) play and this was a good chance as the game was at Shah Alam stadium. Arrived early at the stadium and to our surprise Kedah fans had already filled up the stadium compared to the home team fans. The game was quite ok and it ended 1-1. If not cause of Baby mmg i will not be at any game which doesn’t involve Perak tapi sbb Baby boleh la. Rasa odd gile sbb i sat with thousands of Kedah fans singing their song which i most of the time clap to the beat. Kedah went on to the final as they won on aggregate 3-1. Pity as we planned to go to the final game but FAM decided to play the game in Penang as the two finalist are from the northen region of Malaysia.

anybody wanna tell me why this movie is so gempak ?

Shrek The Third was fair compared to the two previous. Watched it at IOI on sunday. One movie that attract me was Sivaji which was a Hindi movie. On the two consecutive Sunday that i went to IOI all shows for Sivaji was fully booked. Hmmm how ‘dasat’ is that ? Heheheeh hopefully nanti if we got no movies to watch boleh la try tgk Sivaji. After the movies we went to Putrajaya mosque area to have a little picnic. The food was bought at Alamanda earlier . We ate a whole chicken and Mc’D chicken porridge. Kenyang gile ….. Alhamdulillah

waaa sedapnye !

PD Trip and Chef Brew.

Us at the apartment

As planned we went for PD on the weekend , Lan and Kak el was very generous to invite us joining them for the trip. I was working on the saturday morning so the journey to PD started a bit late. We meet up at Alamanda, Putrajaya and had our lunch there. After that i leave my car at TMNet Cyberjaya as we are going to PD in Lan’s car. A massive jam after the Kajang toll slowed our journey a lil bit and we managed to arrived at PD around 6. The TM place was nice and i was told by Kak El that the unit that we are staying was only for the management ppl in TM.

We had dinner at Restoran Ummi where we really had a feast of ikan bakar. One menu which attract me most was the ‘ubi kayu rebus’ which we ordered and was served with sambal and also sugar its a rare thing to have at a restaurant a i can say i seldomly came across it.That night went back to our apartment with a full stomach. The next day after breakfast we took Arief to the swimming pool for a dip and he seemed very excited about it. Actually we planned to swim at the sea but due to the big waves and the weather is not good we ended walking by the sea. On that morning also we witness a sea strom and yes it was scary.

We went back to KL around 1230 , and made a stopped at Seremban parade for lunch.
Arrived in Cyberjaya around 4 something , pick up my kembara and we were then on our way to IOI where we watched Fantastic 4 , The Rise of the Silver Surfer. Enjoyed the movie and after that went straight back after dinner.

Anyway on Tuesday my CEO gave Frontline Recreational Club a lunch treat as we did well organizing our company family day. There were 11 of us and it was at Chef Brew a restaurant near to our office. I had Sizilling Chicken Chop and Lime Juice. The food was nice and so was the service. Heheheheh i took a sneak peak at the bill and it was urghhhhh so the mahal … but i really enjoyed the food. Thanks a lot En Rahman.

Never Stand Still..

Well this will be the new away kit for the season 07/08 and it’s white and not many fans prefer white… but i guess it look ok lah …and the caption never stand still sounds cool…

Free Lunch , Bowling and Second Place

I had a free lunch at Little Penang Cafe @ Midvalley Megamall, today courtesy of the Edu Sales Team hehehehehe rezeki , rezeki… i had Special Seafood Char Kueh Teow and Cendol. The Char Kueh Teow was ok but the cendol was quite nice.. not passing the standard of Ansari’s Cendol in Taiping heheheh but kalau nak kire the standard in KL ok la… but i think the nasi lemak that my office mate had was better because the fragrance of the nasi lemak was really nice…

After office pulak i went for my office closed bowling tournement @ cineleisure damanasara bowling alley ( found out the bowling alley is owned by shalin zulkifli ) and i finished 2nd in the mens division ! Hurray ! Then we went to makan2 at Kluang Station in Ikano Power Center where i had nasi lemak and kopi cham.

Kembara , Pirates and The Ocean Team

I started the weekend servicing my car at Shah Alam and my , my it really caused a real ‘damage’ to me heheheh.. actually i tot it was a normal service and to my suprise it really was a ‘ normal‘ service. The mechanic found out a fault in my car brakes . The left back tyre brake pump was spolit and has to be replaced and both front tyre disk brake needs to be sliced. The spark plugs was also replaced. Waited there for about 2 hours and around 11am my kembara was ready to ride again. Heheheheh “nasib baik ade citibank” macam lan cakap… if not i have to seek abah n mama funding first hehehehe…and the cost that my kembara costs me makes me realize how i love my kembara so much!!!

I pick up baby around 130 and we went to One Utama , the road leading to OU was quite pack.. maybe because of the school hoilday. Arrived there around 3 and luckily for us we easily got a parking spot. Then we proceed to KFC to have our lunch. I booked the Shrek The Third a few days before at 530pm and when we reached the ticketing counter it was only 4. Baby persuaded me to try our luck on Pirates Of The Carribean at 4pm and to our expectation there were still seats at the back left ( booked seats that was not claimed). The movie was nice and after the movie we proceed to IKEA as we had some stuff to buy. For me - Arief long due birthday present ( a blue shark initially i was told to buy the specific gift by the arief father heheheh.. ) and for baby - wedding present for her office mates. We had dinner at Bora Ombak at Ampang . Had trouble of finding the place but at last with the help of some directions given by a Shell pump attendant we managed to get there. The place was ok and with the candles lighten it brings up the romantic mood. I had chicken chop oriental and baby had spaghetti bolognese. The food there was ok and as baby said Secret Recipe is better.. hehehe….

On Sunday we had a ‘panggang ikan and udang session’ at kak long’s house , the major challange was to set up the coal fire and the minor part was eating it hehehehe it took around two hours to complete the panggang session of 4 fishes and a plate full of prawns. After lunch we went to IOI mall , i did some shopping bought two pants , socks and handkerchief and baby bought a pant which i think was nice kinda ethnic look. We then proceed to the movies and Ocean 13 was our choice and it was a good one indeed congrats to Danny Ocean and the gang for setting up the ’sempoi’est heist hehehehhe best gile tgk muke al pacino… hopefully after this there will be Ocean 14 hehehe ( crossing fingers) hmmm next week insyallah will be another fun weekend as we will be going to Port Dickson for a short holiday.

Wedding’s, 5 hours back to Taiping and 8 hours back to Shah Alam….

Wow weeeee a very tiring weekend indeed ! I have to admit that im flat out ! Hehehehe i guess i should drink more red bull la so can be more bulleh !

Hmmm well.. started on friday night we went to Shah and Noreen wedding at concorde shah alam… and wow it was a great wedding indeed .. heheh for me it’s currently the wedding of the year that i had ever attended. The setting was nice , the ambiance was there and the flow was good…. it started off with noreen walking in the grand ballroom accompanied with ’selawat nabi’ and then shah walk in and pity for him due to the Johor tradition he had to stop two places before reaching the ‘pelamin’ to pay toll ( to Noreen aunties and uncles ).After the bersanding took place we were served with nasik beriyani and some tantalizing dishes. The cake cutting ceremony attracted me and baby as the cake (7 layered) was paraded in by the hotel staff (the ballroom lights was turned off at that time ) while the females staff accompanied the cake gracefully with ‘tarian lilin’ and with Kris Dayanti song Mencintaimu turned on.. it really brought up the mood. All i can say was awwwwwwwww ! Anyway congratulations to Shah and Noreen.

the happy couple

On saturday i went back to taiping with my cousin, lan. We were in two separate cars , i drove his father in law’s aveo and lan in his honda city. To our suprise the PLUS highway was jammed and we have to use the old road to escape the jammed. We managed to reach taiping around 3 and had our lunch aka birthday party for arief (1 year old dah !) at mak nyah’s house ( lan’s mother) and after that i went straight home to sleep. Baby also went back to bedong for her cousin wedding and she got home around 6. Mama and abah was not home as they were in Teluk Intan for Azmir’s (my cousin) Wedding ( the wife side ) and they reach home around 530. As on Sunday, Azmir’s wedding will took place.. so my house was filled with my relatives as it was the nearest place to bunk in . On that night i slept late as i was helping around at Azmir’s house.

Azmir wedding was also one of a kind…. it was done in a full military style as Azmir is a Captain of the Malaysian Air Force. The ‘pengantin’ was paraded by men in uniform from different branches of the Malaysian Army holding swords and also accompanied by a bag pipe player and a drum player from the Malaysian Air Force. After they reach the house the ‘pengantin’ walked under the crossing swords which was raised in the air by the army , a few tradition also was done during the bersanding ceremony and the cake cutting cermony in full military style. What a way to remember you wedding with kan….I also managed to meet up with my ex school mates as they were also present on the wedding day ( Azmir and i were in the same class and school )
Anyway to Azmir and Azmahani congratulations on your wedding !

Went back to Shah Alam on that very evening and because of the massive jam it took us about 8 hours to get back.. huhuhuh luckily i was the co driver this time and lan drove his honda city all the way… i was very sleepy and i think i slept most of the journey back… This week i will be at USIM , Nilai for Ecquria training for 3 days and it should be tiring as i will be driving there everyday.

Hmmm really looking ahead for next weekend!
